Hi, I'm Caitlin
I started this show because I was tired of the gap between the mom I was "supposed" to be and the actual messy, confusing, beautiful reality of it.
I spent years thinking I was broken because I couldn't "just relax" or do it all. Turns out, the problem wasn't me—it was the impossible standards moms are handed and expected to meet. Now I'm obsessed with understanding why we believe what we believe about motherhood, adulthood, and what it actually takes to feel okay.
Each episode starts with a real story—sometimes mine, sometimes from listeners—and then digs into the bigger idea underneath it. I'm looking for the moment where something shifts, where we understand ourselves or each other a little differently.
Some episodes explore parenting when you're figuring it out in real time. Others tackle burnout, relationships, or that specific exhaustion that comes from caring about everything, all at once, all the time. This is a thinking-out-loud kind of show. I don't have all the answers, but I'm willing to sit with the messy questions alongside you.
I believe in the power of stories to help us make sense of our lives. I believe humor and honesty are survival tools. And I believe that if you're still figuring things out, you're doing it right.
