Why I Started This Show
I started Not Quite Grownup because I was tired of the gap between the mom I was "supposed" to be and the messy, confusing, beautiful reality of actually being one. I spent years thinking I was broken because I couldn't "just relax" or do it all. Now I know I was measuring myself against impossible standards moms are handed and expected to meet.

What This Show Is (and Isn't)
Each episode starts with a real story—sometimes mine, sometimes a listener's—and digs into the bigger idea underneath it. Some episodes explore parenting in real time. Others tackle burnout, relationships, ADHD, or the specific exhaustion that comes from caring about everything, all at once, all the time.
I don't have all the answers on this show. It's a thinking-out-loud kind of space, one where humor and honesty count as survival tools.
A Little More About Me
I'm a mom navigating the same juggling act I talk about on the show: work, parenting, and the daily effort of trying to feel like a person underneath it all. I was diagnosed with ADHD at 38, which reframed a lot of what I thought I understood about myself, and that lens shows up often in how I think and talk about motherhood, focus, and burnout.
